Atlassian’s Mike Cannon-Brookes faces asset split after separation

One of Australia’s richest men, software billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes, faces a possible split of his vast empire of private corporate holdings and luxury properties after his separation from wife Annie Cannon-Brookes.

First revealed by The Australian Financial Review on Friday, the break-up is the second by a prominent Australian billionaire this month after Fortescue Metals Group’s Andrew Forrest and Nicola Forrest declared they will pursue separate lives.
