Builds on an effort the company began in 2023.

Canonsburg-based Viatris is working with Unmind to build up mental health and wellness among employees and their families.

Unmind provides workplace mental health platform and services using AI and other technology for science-backed wellness. Viatris (Nasdaq: VTRS), which launched its Elevate wellbeing program in 2023, is providing free and confidential services and a platform for mental health and wellbeing for each Viatris employee and up to five family or friends.

"Our partnership with Unmind expands the Elevate program by offering an important tool that recognizes and proactively supports their mental wellbeing, reduces the impact and stigma surrounding mental health and encourages each one of us to live life fully," said Viatris Head of Total Rewards and Talent Sheila Muhl.

Unmind already works with companies like British Airways, Major League Baseball and Disney.

"It's refreshing to see a health care organization not only advocate for the wellbeing of others, but also to actively invest in the health of their own people," said Unmind CEO Nick Taylor. "Our partnership reflects our shared vision of a world where mental health is not an afterthought but a priority, and is a significant step toward destimatizing conversations about mental health in the workplace."
