Both gold and silver prices recorded a hike on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
Gold futures, maturing on December 5, 2023, stood at Rs 60,859 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 74 or 0.12 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 60,785.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2023, witnessed a hike of Rs 516 or 0.72 per cent and were retailing at Rs 71,814 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 71,298.

GOLD, SILVER PRICES IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices edged up on Thursday, buoyed by a weaker U.S. dollar and Treasury yields after the Federal Reserve held interest rates steady and as investors stepped up bets that the central bank may be done with rate hikes., news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold gained 0.1% at $1,983.77 per ounce by 0310 GMT, while, U.S. gold futures gained 0.2 per cent to $1,991.80
Among other precious metals, spot silver was steady at $22.98 per ounce.
