Paramount Global Class B (PARA) just unveiled an announcement.
Paramount Global has announced a reshuffle in its top management, with Robert M. Bakish stepping down as President and CEO, and from the Board, effective April 30, 2024. An Office of the CEO has been set up, consisting of three senior executives: George Cheeks of CBS, Chris McCarthy of Showtime/MTV and Paramount Media Networks, and Brian Robbins of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, with McCarthy taking over as interim principal executive officer. Bakish will stay on as a Senior Advisor until the end of October 2024 to ensure a smooth transition.
