Both gold and silver prices recorded a dip on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Gold futures, maturing on December 5, 2023, stood at Rs 60,802 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 218 or 0.36 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 61,020.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2023, witnessed a hike of Rs 80 or 0.11 per cent and were retailing at Rs 72,172 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 72,252.

GOLD, SILVER PRICES IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices slipped on Monday due to a slight uptick in U.S. bond yields, ahead of a speech by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell later this week for more clarity on the interest rate outlook, news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold was down 0.4% at $1,983.49 per ounce by 0444 GMT, while, U.S. gold futures fell 0.4 per cent to $1,990.60
Among other precious metals, spot silver eased 0.2 to $23.14 per ounce.
