At present, only Toyota and Isuzu sell pickup trucks in India. Isuzu has the D-Max V-Cross, whereas Toyota has the Hilux. Despite its specific market niche, the V-Cross has great popularity in India. The company is currently getting ready to introduce the D-Max V-Cross in 2024. But based on the teases, it appears like the manufacturer will be making minor changes for 2024.
The teasers suggest that there will be a new set of alloy wheels on the sides, running boards for easy entry and exit, chrome garnishes for the fog lights, roof rails, wheel arches and a few more cosmetic garnishes on the outside.
Calling all adventure enthusiasts – the new 2024 V-Cross with bold new looks and enhanced features, coming soon. Stay tuned !#IsuzuMotorsIndia #ISUZUNeverstop #isuzuvcross4x4 #isuzuvcross #2024isuzuvcross pic.twitter.com/2v1O3Vq2Te

The same 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel engine, with a maximum power output of 160 bhp at 3,600 rpm and a maximum torque output of 360 Nm at 2,000–2,500 rpm, will power the pickup truck. Both a 6-speed torque converter automatic engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox are available. While the manual gearbox is limited to a 4×4 powertrain, the automatic transmission is available with both a 4×4 and a 4×2 powertrain. The 4×4 system of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross also has a Shift-on-the-fly system, which removes the need for the driver to stop to shift to 4×4.
There are currently just three available models of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross: 4×2 Z AT, 4×4 Z and 4×4 Z Prestige AT. At ₹22.07 lakh, ₹23.50 lakh and ₹27 lakh, they are priced. All prices are ex-showroom.
