Mike Wilson, Morgan Stanley’s top US equity strategist, is leaving his role as chair of the bank’s Global Investment Committee.
“Mike Wilson will step off the GIC to focus on serving his key institutional clients where the demand for generating tactical alpha is intensifying,” according to an internal memo viewed by Bloomberg.
Wilson remains the firm’s chief investment officer and top-rated US equity strategist.
Lisa Shalett, chief investment officer for Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management, will take over day-to-day duties as chair of the committee, Bloomberg said, citing the memo.
