McDonald's has announced the return of a popular breakfast item fans have been begging for.

After three years of being off the menu, the McDonald's Breakfast Wrap will be making a comeback. Furthermore, the wrap will return with a brand new recipe next month on Wednesday, February 7.

The Breakfast Wrap, which fans wanted back so badly that some even made petitions, can be grabbed next month for £4.39. It will feature a pork sausage patty, two round free-range eggs, a slice of bacon, cripsy potato rosti, and cheese all wrapped up in totrilla.

However, because it's a breakfast item, customers will have to get up bright and early to sink their teeth into this classic item. The Breakfast Wrap will be available at McDonald's location from 5am to 11am each day.

Fans all over social media are gushing over the return their favourite breakfast item. One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Best news of 2024 is that McDonald’s are bringing back the breakfast wrap."

While a fourth said: "McDonalds breakfast wrap making a come back? What a way to start 2024."

Earlier this month McDonald's shook up its menu after removing its festive offerings - and adding a few other items. Festive treats including The Big & Cheesy and the Chicken Big Mac will be removed and were replaced with burgers including the Steakhouse Stack.
