Interested parties can purchase the tender document for Rs 1 lakh until 21 August, but only those who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be permitted to bid. The BCCI also clarified that purchasing the tender will not necessarily allow a person to bid. MasterCard was the title sponsor for all international cricket matches in India from September to March.

It had replaced Paytm as the title sponsor. The company was reportedly paying Rs 3.8 crore per match, the same as Paytm.

Paytm's title sponsorship deal with BCCI was expected to run from September 2019 to March 2023.

However, the digital payments giant decided to assign its title sponsorship rights to MasterCard since it was looking to trim costs to become profitable.

The BCCI had recently awarded the lead sponsor rights to fantasy sports platform Dream11 from 2023–26 for a base price of Rs 358 crore.

As the lead sponsor, Dream11's logo will be present on the front of the jersey of the Indian cricket team. The sponsorship includes Indian men's, women's, and U-19 teams.

Apart from Dream11, Disney Star was the only other player to pick up the tender document for academic purposes.
