Gold Price Today 24 January 2024: Both gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday. Check the latest city-wise prices here.
Both gold and silver prices recorded a dip on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Gold futures, maturing on February 5, 2024, stood at Rs 61,960 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 8 or 0.01 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 61,968.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on March 5, 2024, witnessed a dip of Rs 56 or 0.08 per cent and were retailing at Rs 70,901 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 70,957.

GOLD, SILVER PRICES IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices inched higher on Tuesday, as investors awaited a slew of U.S. economic data this week for more cues to the Federal Reserve's timeline for interest rate cuts, news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold was up 0.2% at $2,025.09 per ounce by 1900 GMT, while, U.S. gold futures rose 0.2% at $2,025.8
Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 1.2% to $22.35 per ounce.
