Elon Musk’s Tesla Issues Second Recall in Weeks: This Time for Doors

via HBO

Tesla has issued a recall for 120,423 Model S and X vehicles in the United States due to a safety issue with the doors potentially opening during a crash when unlocked.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) highlighted the risk and non-compliance with safety regulations.

Tesla plans to address the problem with an over-the-air software update and will notify affected owners in February.

This comes shortly after a previous recall of over 2 million vehicles related to safety concerns with the Autopilot software.
