Get 40% Off Your Fall Southwest Airlines Flights

Following

Planning a trip for late summer, fall or even early winter? If so, this limited-time offer might save some money. Here’s how you might enjoy 40% off your 2023 travels.

Get 40% Off Travel

Southwest Airlines is offering travelers the opportunity to save 40% off base fares (before taxes and government fees) for travel between August 15, 2023-December 14, 2023. To get 40% off, use promo code 40OFF when booking a one-way or roundtrip flight. However, you have until 11:59 p.m. PST to use the code.

Note that travel blackout dates include November 16, 2023-November 27, 2023. Other restrictions may apply to select dates, routes and destinations.

Why Fly Southwest

Flying on Southwest Airlines means you’ll enjoy several perks that airlines don’t offer. For example, you can save on baggage fees as each passenger gets two free checked bags. Additionally, Southwest lets you sit wherever you’d like, and seats are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Priority boarding is available to credit cardholders and for passengers to purchase. To board sooner, you can buy upgraded boarding or EarlyBird Check-In®, which is an automatic check-in. Southwest determines the flight boarding order according to the passenger check-in order (unless they have upgraded boarding or business fare).

Summary

Being able to save nearly half on flights for the fall and winter is a great deal that travelers shouldn’t miss. However, a few blackout dates exist, including around the Thanksgiving holidays. Otherwise, traveling during the fall is an excellent idea as you’ll likely encounter fewer crowds and lower prices.
