LPL Financial recruited advisors overseeing more than $1 billion in assets from Ameriprise Financial, adding to LPL’s growing advisor ranks.

In the largest of three moves, LPL picked up an ex-Ameriprise team overseeing $500 million in McAllen, Texas, LPL said Thursday. The Strategic Insights Financial Planning Group was founded by Arthur Hughes in 1986.
