Palo Alto Networks Establishes New Cloud Infrastructure in Poland

Global cybersecurity solutions provider, Palo Alto Networks, has broadened its worldwide outreach with the introduction of a fresh cloud location in Poland. This strategic initiative is set to equip customers in the region with robust access to Palo Alto Networks’ cybersecurity solutions, while catering to their data residency necessities.

The cybersecurity landscape is in constant flux, with new and intricate cyber threats emerging regularly, leaving enterprises in Poland and across Central Eastern Europe increasingly exposed, according to Palo Alto. Businesses would thus be turning to cutting-edge technological solutions to bolster their cybersecurity stance and streamline their infrastructure. This development would represent a response to that escalating need.

Helmut Reisinger, the CEO of EMEA and LATAM for Palo Alto Networks, expressed delight over the firm’s ability to provide its elite security technology and consolidated platforms to customers locally, right from the new cloud base in Poland. “This investment is reflective of our pledge to ensure customers globally have local access to our AI-driven cybersecurity capabilities while assisting them in managing their data location requirements.”

Security Operations Centers

The Polish cloud infrastructure will afford customers access to various “state-of-the-art” cybersecurity products, such as:

Prisma Access – As the security service edge (SSE) solution of Prisma SASE, Prisma Access offers a comprehensive SASE solution by fusing network security, SD-WAN, and Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM) into a solitary cloud-driven service. Through a local cloud footprint, Polish clientele can integrate Zero Trust security to their hybrid workforce, ensuring industry-leading latency and performance levels.

Cortex XDR – As the inaugural extended detection and response platform in the industry, Cortex XDR amalgamates endpoint, network, and cloud data to deter complex attacks using top-tier AI and analytics. The new Polish cloud infrastructure allows customers to conform to data residency requirements by preserving their logs and analytics domestically.

Cortex XSIAM – Palo Alto Networks recently rolled out its automation-first platform for modern Security Operations Centers (SOCs), leveraging machine intelligence to drastically improve security outcomes and revolutionize security operations. Cortex XSIAM offers Polish clients the capability to speed up their SOC transformation while aligning with data location preferences.

Advanced WildFire – This would allow users to exploit one of the industry’s largest malware prevention engines, ensuring files submitted for scrutiny remain within Poland’s borders to comply with data privacy concerns. The platform can be utilized by the Palo Alto Networks Zero Trust Network Security Platform (including Prisma SASE, ML-Powered Next-Generation Firewalls, and VM-/CN-Series software firewalls), Cortex XDR, and third-party products via API.

Cortex Data Lake – This would enable users to gather, modify, and integrate their enterprise’s security data to facilitate Palo Alto Networks solutions while keeping data logs locally.

With this strategic move in Poland, Palo Alto Networks continues its expansion by facilitating security compliance through local cloud security infrastructures, with its presence now extending across more than 76 countries worldwide.
