Fortinet announces 2 DCs in India
Bengaluru: Cybersecurity company Fortinet has announced two dedicated data centres in India - in Bengaluru and Pune - to expand the reach and availability of its products including Universal SASE (secure access service edge), FortiGuard AI-powered security services, and FortiCloud. According to recent Fortinet research, 94% of the Indian workforce is either hybrid or fully remote and, on an average, requires over 40 connections to third-party cloud applications.
This significantly expands an organisation’s attack surface and complicates enterprise security. To address this, businesses are increasingly adopting cloud-delivered services to securely connect their hybrid workforce. SASE is a cloud architecture model that combines network and security-as-a-service functions together and delivers them as a single cloud service.
