Gold Price Today 15 January 2024: Both gold and silver are trading on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday. Check the latest city-wise prices here.
Both gold and silver prices recorded a hike on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, January 15, 2024.
Gold futures, maturing on February 5, 2024, stood at Rs 62,567 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal hike of Rs 205 or 0.33 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 62,362.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on March 5, 2024, witnessed a hike of Rs 205 or 0.28 per cent and were retailing at Rs 72,685 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 72,480.

GOLD, SILVER PRICES IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices rose on Monday, holding above the $2,050 level on safe-haven appeal from elevated tensions in the Middle East and on renewed bets for an early rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve, news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold rose 0.4% at $2,056.20 per ounce by 0639 GMT, while, U.S. gold futures rose 0.4 at $2,060.10
Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.4 to $23.25 per ounce.
