Croc Day on Oct. 23 will bring a fan idea to life: Crocs cowboy boots.
Fans of the company’s unique foam clogs requested cowboy boots for years, and Crocs Inc. has finally obliged.
The boots come in black, with a shiny crocodile skin texture and Western-style stitching. The company crocodile mascot, Duke, even sports a cowboy hat on the strap fasteners.
The shoes will debut on Croc Day and are listed for $120 on the company’s website, where customers can go on a waitlist for the new shoes.
Crocs said the black boots will be around for only a limited time.
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year — Croctober — a time to celebrate the most imaginative fans in the world, and this year is no exception. Croc Day was born by our fans, so we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate them than by bringing their ideas to life,” Crocs Chief Marketing Officer Heidi Cooley said in a statement.
