Gold Price Today May 25, 2023: Both gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday. Check the latest city-wise prices here.
After witnessing mixed trends in the Indian market yesterday, both gold and silver prices are retailing on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
Gold futures, maturing on June 5, 2023, stood at Rs 59,739 per 10 grams, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 137 or 0.23 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 59,860.
Similarly, silver futures, due on July 5, 2023, witnessed a downfall of Rs 286 or 0.40 percent and were retailing at Rs 70,841 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 71,086.

GOLD PRICE ON INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices traded in a narrow range on Thursday as investors awaited further developments in the drawn-out debt ceiling negotiations, while a stronger dollar capped advances, news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold held steady at $1,957.49 per ounce by 0300 GMT. U.S. gold futures fell 0.3 per cent to $1,958.60. The dollar index held firm close to the previous session’s high, keeping a lid on gold prices.
Spot silver fell 0.3 per cent to $23.02 per ounce, among other precious metals.
