HSBC Holdings plc recently disclosed the outcomes of its Annual General Meeting (AGM), where the majority of proposed resolutions were approved by shareholders, with a notable exception of a shareholder-requisitioned resolution which failed. In addition, the AGM marked changes in the company’s board, including the retirement of David Nish and the appointment of Ann Godbehere as the new Senior independent non-executive Director.
