Gold, silver price today, November 13, 2023: Precious metals witness dip on MCX
Gold Price Today 13 November 2023: Both gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday. Check the latest city-wise prices here.
Both gold and silver prices recorded a dip on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Monday, November 13, 2023.
Gold futures, maturing on December 5, 2023, stood at Rs 59,699 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 147 or 0.25 percent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 59,752.
Similarly, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2023, witnessed a downfall of Rs 792 or 1.13 per cent and were retailing at Rs 70,050 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 70,032.

The price of gold varies for different regions in the country based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and the state taxes.
GOLD, SILVER PRICE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET
Gold prices hovered near a three-week low on Monday as the dollar held firm and investors awaited US inflation data for more cues on whether the Federal Reserve will stand pat on interest rates or raise them higher, news agency Reuters reported.
According to the latest metal report, spot gold was down 0.1 per cent at $1,934.53 per ounce, as of 0447 GMT. US gold futures gained 0.1 per cent to $1,939.00.
Gold fell 2.8 per cent last week, logging its worst week in more than a month, as Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s hawkish remarks pushed back any notion about interest rate cuts.
Among other precious metals, spot silver fell 1 per cent to $21.98 per ounce.
