Rio Tinto (LSE:RIO) (GB:RIO) has released an update.
Rio Tinto PLC has successfully passed all resolutions at its recent annual general meetings, according to the voting results. The decisions, which included approvals for director elections and remuneration reports, were certified by Computershare Investor Services. Notably, a resolution to authorize the purchase of Rio Tinto plc shares received less than 80% approval, with major shareholder Chinalco voting against it.
