Monadelphous wins $200m contract with Albemarle for Kemerton plant

Monadelphous shares have lifted after the engineering contractor announced it won a $200 million contract to assist US chemicals giant Albemarle expand the Kemerton lithium hydroxide plant in WA.

Monadelphous on Tuesday said the contract was for works associated with two new lithium processing trains (trains 3 and 4) after the successful delivery of construction packages on trains 1 and 2.
